A second member of the Harris County Sheriff’s Office has died after a lengthy battle with Coronavirus COVID-19.
The Harris County Sheriff's Office is searching for a teenager who went missing while swimming in the San Jacinto River.
Sgt. Raymond Scholwinski, who passed away after a battle with COVID-19, served as a member of the Harris County Sheriff's Office for 26 years.
Sgt. Scholwinski first tested positive for COVID-19 in March and spent several weeks in a hospital. He lost his battle with the virus this week.
Multiple agencies are investigating a deputy-involved shooting in southwest Harris County.
The deputy began to pursue the suspect on foot. The sheriff’s office says at some point the suspect displayed a gun, and the deputy, fearing for his life, fired multiple shots at the suspect.
A retired Harris County sheriff's deputy has passed away due to coronavirus COVID-19, announced Sheriff Ed Gonzalez on Twitter.
"It's putting my health at risk right now," said an inmate over the phone from the Harris County Jail. "We wear masks when we leave our tank but when we are in our cells, people don't wear the masks."
Carolyn Court, 68, has been charged in the murder of her husband, Ray Court.
The victim is currently in critical condition after being shot by his stepfather, deputies say.
Ashley Ann Jaeger, 35, was reportedly last seen wearing a burgundy shirt with green and black lace, a black coat and green pants.
One woman was reportedly shot and has been transported to a hospital by Life Flight.
A 16-year-old and a 10-year-old were shot at two different scenes. Harris County deputies are investigating both incidents.
Deputies say the shooting happened in the 10100 block of Bammel N. Houston Road.

FIREWORKS STAND ROBBERY: Deputies say three to four men attempted to rob a fireworks stand and an employee possibly disarmed one of the suspects and fired shots at them.
The suspect was allegedly arguing over a haircut that the barber gave his son.
The Harris County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a gunman after bullets ripped through a couple of homes on Monday night.
According to HCSO, the shooting may have occurred at a different site and the driver may have stopped at 5015 Aldine Bender Rd.
The teen was reportedly crossing the street and was struck by a white Dodge truck. The driver fled the scene.
