The Conroe Police Department has released additional information following a deadly crash on Thursday afternoon.

The officer's injuries were not life-threatening. Details of the initial crash are limited at this time.

FOX 26's Jonathan Mejia was one of the few reporters who joined local and federal law enforcement as they tracked down fugitives in and around Conroe.

The crash was reported on FM 3083 between Exxon Road and Crater Hill Road. Electrical wires are reportedly lying across the roadway.
