A shelter-in-place in Wharton has been lifted after a massive fire at a Prime Eco plant overnight, but flames reignited after fire crews left.
"It's something every property owner in the state of Texas and in the country can end up experiencing. They can get that knock on the door," said attorney Alejandra Galvan.
Houston Baptist University signed an agreement that will guarantee admission for local community college graduates into most of their degree programs.
Officials say an 18-year-old got into a fight with several "unknown suspects and the child was an unintended victim of that gunfire exchange.”
Wharton PD confirmed there were no reported injuries and "all personal and employees are safe and accounted for."

Authorities say Dale Neider of Wharton, Texas reportedly jumped from a moving boat at a private lake in Missouri and attempted to float before going underwater but did not resurface.
A Wharton County daycare is being accused of child neglect, after complaints from parents.
Five are dead after the crash, the lone survivor is a six-month-old child that was flown to downtown Houston for additional medical treatment.
