FOX 26 has learned Galveston Island Beach Patrol Chief Peter Davis' employment ended on Tuesday, according to a news release.

While police believe the shooting stemmed from a dispute between the two individuals. The suspect was reportedly arrested arrested in Goliad County

A man accused of carjacking an elderly woman in Galveston was arrested Thursday after the stolen SUV he was driving overheated during a police chase.

The abuse began in 2010 when the victims were 4 and 5, occurring at their home when their mother was absent.
