HOUSTON (AP) - A victim advocacy group said Friday the indictment of a Houston-area Roman Catholic priest on child indecency charges sends a message that "those who hurt children can and will be held accountable."

The Montgomery County District Attorney's office has confirmed that a grand jury wrapped up at 5:00 p.m.

A 186-acre Margaritaville Resort is coming to Lake Conroe.

White smoke could be seen burning from portions of Sam Houston National Forest Wednesday. 

Investigators say a search warrant was performed in connection to the investigation of a Conroe priest, Father Manuel La Rosa-Lopez who is accused of sexually abusing children.  The warrant is being executed at Shalom Center in Splendora, where the Conroe priest received treatment after sex abuse allegations.
