Officials say mercury spilled near Westview Drive and W. Sam Houston Parkway. less than a pint of mercury was spilled in the parking lots of a Walmart, Sonic, and Shell. Reports of 60,000 gallons of spilled mercury are inaccurate. 

The crash happened on Wade Road in Baytown. The driver of the truck was transported to the hospital by ground, along with three children. A 17-year-old male was Life Flighted.
