The jet that crashed at Waller County's Houston Executive Airport was built more than 30 years ago and was being used for executive and leisure travel.

“It has been stated that our agency mishandled the initial investigation of the crash scene. That is true," Waller PD Chief Bill Llewellyn said.

The Waller County District Attorney is responding to the investigation where six cyclists were run over by a teen driving a pickup truck last month.

Authorities say a woman was airlifted to the hospital and so was a teenager who was shot in the face.

An investigation continues in Waller County after a 16-year-old with a pickup truck ran over six Houston area bicyclists Saturday morning.

Six cyclists were run over by a pickup truck along old 290, roughly 2 miles west of Waller.  In total, four of the cyclists had to be taken to area hospitals, including 2 by helicopter.

Officials have issued a SILVER ALERT for Ronald Nelms, 73, of Hempstead.

An unidentified deputy investigator was arrested and booked into the Fort Bend County Detention Center before posting bail.

Details are limited but we're told the crash occurred on Interstate 10 Westbound near Igloo Road in Waller County.

The reward has been increased for information in the disappearance of Danielle Sleeper, a Magnolia mother who has been missing since 2015.
