Some Saharan dust is still making its way across the Houston area bringing slightly drier air and lower humidity. That means no heat alerts once again with heat index values staying below 108. Air quality is also in a decent moderate zone which should not be a problem for most folks. Humidity will gradually increase as well with heat alerts likely returning by Sunday or Monday. Isolated rain will stick around through Saturday but even our low rain chances go away Sunday and Monday as the heat dome gets closer.
