FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast - Rain chances remain

Severe storms left a trail of damage across parts of the area with the hardest hit locations north of Houston. Between 6-12 inches of rain fell between yesterday and today up around Grimes, Walker, San Jacinto, Polk, Trinity & Liberty counties. The NWS has also confirmed an EF-1 tornado around Trinity yesterday with two injuries & damage reported in the Rock Creek Subdivision. Watch out for lingering flooding issues, especially around the Trinity river. Patch fog is possible Tuesday with a few PM storms. Daily rain & storm chances stick around for the rest of the week with the best chance coming Wednesday, Thursday & Friday. It will also be a warm and steamy week with temperatures near 90.
