Ferry operations from Galveston to the Bolivar Peninsula will work on an altered schedule starting Monday night amid an arctic blast bringing freezing temperatures.

Entergy, the electric provider for the Bolivar Peninsula said, they have restored power to all customers as of 4:30 p.m. after they were working to replace a substation transformer.
TxDOT’s Galveston-Bolivar Ferry will pause service at 11:30 p.m. Tuesday, August 25.
