Houston weather: Another hot day ahead for Thursday

While we aren't expecting record high temperatures, reach the mid to upper 90s with ample humidity will make it feel like it's at least 100-105, so take care of yourself, stay hydrated and protect yourself from the sun. There will be a tinge of haze to the sky Wednesday through Friday with Saharan dust in place, but so far air quality hasn't been a problem.

It's a quiet Tuesday morning, feeling warm with temperature in the 70s. The air quality will be in the high end of moderate toward the unhealthy for some categories which is not unusual for summertime in Houston. It'll begin to feel hotter with highs in the mid-90s.

Houston weather: Rain moving out, Saharan Dust moving in

Isolated storms will be possible again on Tuesday, but as the week continues, our temperatures will rise as rain chances fall. Daily highs will range from about 94-99 across inland areas for the rest of the week with the beaches toping out in the low 90s. Saharan dust could make the skies look a bit hazy, especially on Tuesday and Wednesday. Heat index values could reach 105 most afternoons.

Tropical Weather Forecast - Watching the Gulf, other tropical systems

Tropical Storm Barry formed over the weekend and made landfall along the east coast of Mexico. In the Eastern Pacific, Tropical Storm Flossie formed this morning. The National Hurricane Center is also watching for tropical development towards the end of this week near Florida.
