The National Hurricane Center is done with Invest 94L, not going to become a tropical system. Gulf moisture will need to be watched late this week as it has a slight chance for becoming a tropical depression.

It's going to be hot and steamy for today and the next couple days with highs in the upper 90s and heat index values in the 100s. Overnight lows will remain in the upper 70s to low 80s. Storm chances increase for Friday and Saturday.

Recent satellite-derived wind data indicate that Invest 94L has become less organized. Although the wave is still producing disorganized showers and thunderstorms, environmental conditions are not favorable for development during the next few days while the wave moves westward at around 15 mph.
