Not everyone saw rain on Saturday but the majority of the FOX 26 area saw at least some rain.

Starting Saturday off with storms across the area, but that gives way to a mix of clouds and sunshine for Sunday before storm chances return Monday and Tuesday leading to a cool down just in time for Thanksgiving. FOX 26 meteorologist Peyton Galyean has the details.

Saturday looks pleasant after early morning rain & thunder with falling humidity into the afternoon.

Another round of rain is expected late tonight into early Saturday morning.

A lot of people are preparing to travel for Thanksgiving Day, so the FOX 26 Weather team has a look at what the weather will look like for your travels.

It will be a warm and breezy Friday with the chance of some scattered storms throughout the day. We could also have some late, overnight rain. Temperature highs will reach the mid-80s.

Overnight rain chances have weakened for northwest Greater Houston. More chances are present Friday through Monday.

A band of thunderstorms is possible tonight, but most of the day and evening will be breezy and humid with a few spotty showers.

It's a foggy Thursday morning and the humidity will stick around until the afternoon. There is a chance of isolated showers in the afternoon with the weather warming up into the 80s, expect a slight breeze.

Severe weather and heavy rain are not impossible, but not likely for late Thursday and Friday in Southeast Texas.

Thursday continues more unseasonably warm air with muggy Gulf breezes and spotty showers by midday.
