It's a February heatwave! Near record high temperatures are once again expected for Tuesday across SE Texas! Get ready for widespread 80s and breezy conditions for the first official day of Rodeo 2024. Cold front on Wednesday will bring an end to the super warm temperatures and a small chance for rain. A few showers may linger for parts of Thursday and Friday but widespread rain is not expected. Thursday will be the coolest day of the week with high temperatures only near 60 and cool nighttime temperatures near 50. A gradual warming trend is expected through the rest of the week with temperatures back near 80 by this weekend. A better chance for more widespread showers and storms should return about a week from now next Monday.

Back to the 80s for the start of your workweek! A cold front moves into Southeast Texas on Wednesday but don't look for rain with this one. The mornings will be chilly on Thursday and Friday with temperatures in the upper 40s. An upper level disturbance moves across Houston at the end of the week putting some chances of rain in the forecast for Thursday and Friday. The weekend starts beautiful on Saturday.
