Elderly woman killed in Fort Bend County after hit and run accident

An elderly woman has died after being hit by a car on FM 1092. 

FM 1092 northbound between Avenue E and Dove Country is closed. Deputies are investigating the fatal auto-ped accident that happened at 6:08 p.m.

The driver fled the scene.
