Houston will experience a cooler, breezy Easter Sunday with temperatures near 70 and a chance of lingering afternoon showers before transitioning into a pleasant, mild start to the workweek.

Expect a breezy and humid Good Friday with skies mostly cloudy. There may a few spotty showers around the area for today, however more heavier storms are expected for Saturday.

Warm, humid air remains in place across Southeast Texas making it feel almost like early summer. A few showers are possible with spotty rain and a few storms possible Friday. Temperatures will again climb into the 80s with humid and breezy conditions & gusts near 25 miles per hour out of the south.

Saturday brings the highest concern for more widespread storms. Some could be strong with heavy rain, gusty winds, and even localized flooding, especially later in the day and possibly overnight into very early Sunday.
