Abigail Dye is a journalist with a passion for crime and justice. She comes to FOX26 after spending two years as a crime reporter at KOKI in Tulsa, Oklahoma. There, she covered numerous crime stories including the St. Francis mass shooting.
Abigail graduated from the University of Cincinnati, and during her time as a student, she interned for KNBC in Los Angeles. In that role, she fell in love with hard news and investigative reporting. After graduating she returned to her hometown Columbus, Ohio to start her career. There, she worked on the digital team at WSYX before moving to Tulsa.
In her free time, Abigail can be found watching football, playing with her dog Apache or at the gym. She’s a bit of a workaholic who has a passion for holding criminals - and the justice system they go through - accountable. She’s excited to be living in Houston and feels honored by the opportunity to tell stories here.
