Houston police officer involved in crash with another vehicle, 1 person taken to hospital
HOUSTON - Houston police are investigating after an officer was involved in a crash with another vehicle.
Officials said the crash occurred in the 7500 block of Southwest Freeway around 7:30 p.m.

Authorities said a police vehicle was traveling to an emergency call with their lights and sirens activated.
While they were crossing the intersection, they slowed down believing they had cleared all thru traffic.
As they were proceeding through, officials said they were struck by another vehicle.
Officials said the officers had minor injuries or mentioned minor injuries and a person in the other vehicle was taken to the hospital complaining of chest pain.
Everyone involved is said to be in stable condition.
