Tropical Weather Forecast - Saharan Dust continues in Atlantic

Things continue to remain quiet across the Atlantic basin for the month of June. However, in the Eastern Pacific, multiple systems are being monitored, including Tropical Storm Barbara and Topical Storm Cosme. Barbara will remain offshore but will still bring the threat for high surf and rip currents along the West-Central Mexican coast. Both systems are rapidly weakening & will fall apart the next few days as they move north into cooler waters.

Houston weather: More wet weather possible this week

The combination of jet stream disturbances and lots of warm, humid air will lead to a good chance for storms each day. Storms could include occasional threats of hail, 50+ mph winds, frequent lightning or heavy rain as well. Make sure to seek shelter when you hear thunder. Storms can form very quickly and we don't want you to get stuck at the beach or park with lightning in the area.
