Two EF-1 tornadoes have also been confirmed, 110 mph tornado in Cypress and an EF-1 tornado just SW of Waller. The event is being called a "Derecho" because the intense line of storms stayed together for hundreds of miles producing severe wind gusts around hurricane force. Showers will come to an end tonight. But keep in mind flooding still occurring around the Brazos, Trinity & San Jacinto rivers due to all the recent rain.
