On Tuesday afternoon, relatives of people killed allegedly at the hands of repeat violent offenders, free from jail on multiple felony bonds, denounced current democratic criminal district court judges.

182 Harris County residents have been killed allegedly at the hands of repeat violent offenders free from jail on multiple felony or personal recognizance bonds. 20 of the killers involved in those slayings are now convicted.

"It's flat out ridiculous that we're allowing this to happen in Harris County, and we're not going to hold anyone accountable anymore," said Doug Griffith, President of the Houston Police Officers Union.

30-year-old Eric Todd Semien and three others are charged with capital murder in the May 26, 2016, deaths of Javier Moreno and Roger Pantoja.

The Muharib family have been accused of taking less than 10% of the bond amount for defendants and putting them on payment plans.

In 2019, Joshua Ortiz-Lopez was charged with engaging in organized criminal activity.

Judging by his rap sheet, 37-year-old Kevin Thompson is a dangerous criminal.
