They tell you to check the four P's – people, plants, pipes and pets— during a freeze. But a lot of times we forget to check on our elderly—a deadly mistake.

An 82-year-old woman with dementia died after she was left home alone during the winter blast. Her body was found in a wooded area next to her Crosby house after she wandered off. Deputies say she died from the cold temperatures.
