Drivers at Houston gas station fill up for 79 cents a gallon

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - A gas price war of sorts broke out in southeast Houston today, and some Houston drivers reaped the benefits.

A Texaco and a Chevron on Old Spanish Trail dropped their prices to 78 and 79 cents a gallon, which drew long lines of cars wrapped around the stations this morning.

Unfortunately, the low, low price was only a limited time offer.
