FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Rounds of storms will stay in the forecast through at least Saturday before the pattern calms down. Strong to severe storms are rolling in this evening that could produce some strong wind and hail along with heavy downpours. Models are not in agreement on timing but it appears that a few lines of storms could impact us on Friday, one in the early morning and another in the evening. The Storm Prediction Center has Houston in their 2/5 risk for severe storms. More rain for Saturday but a drier pattern ends the weekend and starts next week.

We'll repeat this pattern Thursday with more scattered storms, especially during the afternoon and evening. Houston storm survivor talks being rescued

Only on FOX, a Houston man who survived being swept away in yesterday's severe storm spoke with FOX 26 about the scary incident and being rescued by a Good Samaritan. Reporter Jonathan Mejia reports on what the man had to say.

We start your Wednesday on a cooler note than days past. Afternoon highs will reach the upper-80s. There is a cluster of showers and gusty winds moving in from the west. A Wind Advisory is in effect until 7 a.m. for Washington, Austin and Colorado Counties. Wind gusts in those counties could reach 35-45 mph.
