Southeast Texas is waking up to the 40s and 50s with clear skies this morning. Afternoon highs will be rising to the mid 70s with another round of dry weather. We were main dry through the start of your weekend before showers and isolated thunderstorms possible Sunday and Monday. Once our next front moves through, temperatures will be dropping significantly by the middle and end of next week. Highs will be dropping to the 60s with wake up temperatures in the 40s. Tropical Storm Sara is bringing heavy rain to Central America and is expected to slowly decrease in intensity once over the Yucat?n Peninsula. We are getting another brief taste of fall thanks to last night's cold front. Temperatures will dip to the 40s and 50s tonight and climb to the 70s Friday afternoon. Warmer weather creeps back in this weekend with middle 80s likely by Sunday afternoon. Next big weather change comes with a cold front early next week. Look for a decent chance for showers and a few rumbles of thunder Monder PM with the front moving through by Tuesday. That will send temperatures tumbling mid-late next week. Some of you will dip into the 30s by Thursday morning. This will likely be the coolest air of the season so get ready! Look for Thursday to be a bit breezy but lots of sunshine ends the workweek. If you have been wanting even colder temperatures, there looks to be a more impactful front late next week. Much of Houston could see temps drop into the 40s with chilly conditions for multiple days. We are also still watching the tropics. The tropical wave in the Caribbean Sea has now been labeled as Invest 99L by the National Hurricane Center. This will likely become a named storm by the end of the week. It will bring heavy rain to parts of Central America but could also make a track back to the North.
