Houston weather: More heavy rain possible on Friday
While Harris County is not under a Flood Watch, Houston will still receive waves of moderate to heavy rain with drizzly weather in between. Flood Watch remains in effect until 7 PM Friday for Fort Bend, Colorado, Brazoria, Jackson, Wharton, Matagorda and Calhoun counties. Expect wet roads this evening with the chance of a few flooded streets. The chance for heavier rain increases tonight through Friday and could even linger until early Saturday morning. Overall accumulations could range from about 2-3" in Harris County, 2" in Montgomery and potential for 3-5" in a few spots in Brazoria, Fort Bend and all areas south and west of those counties through Friday night.
