Houston weather: Scattered storms through Wednesday
Following 1 to 3 inches of rain on Tuesday, scattered showers and storms will add 1 to 2 inches along with fast-moving storms with frequent lightning and occasional gusty winds. Temperatures will hang around the upper 60s Wednesday, but much cooler air will move in tonight.

Although no extreme cold is expected, the combination of clouds, rain and shifting winds should bring temperatures closer to normal for February. Highs will range from near 70 Tuesday, middle to upper 70s Wednesday and back to the 50s by Thursday.
