Hurricane Ian has maximum sustained winds of 75 mph and is forecast to strengthen to an 80 mph hurricane before making landfall near Charleston, SC early Friday afternoon. Ian will bring the threat of storm surge around 4-7 feet, damaging winds, and rainfall up to 12 inches to the Carolinas Friday.
