Nearly 250,000 people have signed a petition asking Governor Greg Abbott to release three teenagers accused of beating their stepfather to death after finding out he was sexually abusing their 9-year-old sister. Two of the boys are brothers. The other is a family friend. All of them are being held on million-dollar bonds and if convicted face life in prison without the possibility of parole.
