Three people arrested in connection to murders of Spring couple

Harris County deputies arrested three men in connection to the murders of a Spring couple found bound and shot in their home.

The Harris County Sheriff's Office has filed capital murder charges on Erick Alfredo Peralta, 20, Aakiel Ricardo Kendrick, 21, and Khari Ty Kendrick, 23, in connection to the deaths of Bao and Jenny Lam.

Over the weekend, the Harris County Sheriff's Office could be seen inside the North Gate Country Club neighborhood. Saturday deputies were called out to the 16500 block of Glorietta Turn in Spring. The home was ransacked, the owners Bao and Jenny Lam had been bound and shot to death. Police say that they could have been there for days and say their son tried contacting them Saturday.

"We found out from the son that he was concerned because he hadn't heard from his parents in a couple days. He came out this evening at approximately 8 p.m. and there was no response so he called deputies out to the scene, we forced entry into the home and the two bodies were discovered at this point," says Sheriff Ed Gonzalez.

Investigators say they believe the Lams were ambushed as they parked their car in their garage Thursday night.

Neighbors say the couple has been living there for a few years and believed they owned several Subway businesses. Sylvia Evans sends her condolences to those who are now grieving. "It's just so sad, my heart goes out to them and it's just heart breaking, I don't know what to say except I'm so sorry for them and it's such a tragedy," says Evans.

"We want to make sure we catch these criminals that would take the life of two individuals, they are both in their 60's it appears, so we are going to be pursuing this to the very end," says Sheriff Gonzalez.

Police are still looking over evidence and say a number of unknown firearms and valuables had gone missing.

Anyone with information is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 713-222-TIPS.
