Police say armed suspect barricaded in vehicle with hostage

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - HPD SWAT officer are involved in a stand off with a suspect who was involved in a police chase. Police say an armed suspect is barricaded in a vehicle near the intersection of East 32nd and Omega and has a hostage.

This all began around 8:30 p.m. on Hardy and Tidwell. Police say this started as a stolen vehicle call, suspect bailed and is holding a passenger hostage.
