Pipe on Galveston Beach part of $19.5 million improvement project

GALVESTON, Texas (FOX 26) - With the warmer weather, people are returning to the beach in Galveston.

Many beach goers are concerned to see a giant pipeline right in the middle of the beach front, but our photojournalist Darlene Janik Faires found out what it's all about.

The project is scheduled to end by mid-May.
