Millennials in the Workforce

Millennials are proving they are doing things their way. That includes careers, and many of them are going the non-traditional route. They want out of a set schedule, being micromanaged, limited vacation days and they’re willing to take a chance to ensure sure their personal life is getting just as much attention as their work life.

A recent survey by Deloitte found 43 percent of millennial‘s are expected to leave their job within two years. The Labor Department says the percentage of workers of all ages quitting their jobs has reached an all time high, the highest level in more than 16 years.

Places like The Cannon have popped up around town, and its perfect for freelancers. The campus for entrepreneurs provides desk space that you rent monthly, with an ambience that surrounds you with other business professionals, mentors, partners investors and connections.
