Houston woman has gun pulled on her during road rage incident

“It’s crazy because that’s the society that we’re living in and it’s reality, it’s just reality,” says a woman who wants to go by her first name, Alyson.

Alyson says while running errands, a man driving a black Mazda Miata cut them off. A minute later, she says he decided to stop, get out of his car and try talking to them. She says, “So he got out very calm. He went to the window and he told my mom 'put the window down' calmly, so my mom is like 'what’s wrong', he’s like 'hold on hold on.'” The man walked back to his car and then drove off.

However, Alyson says he whipped back around, barricading them on the small road and pointed a gun at them. She, her mother and seven-year-old son, sped off and called 911, but that she was shocked when the dispatcher asked her to stay put while the officer was on the way.

“They told me 'don’t leave, you have to wait there to file the police report' and I told them 'I am not going to do that I’m not going to do that I’m out of here,'” she says.

Remember if you ever find yourself in a similar situation, police say to remain calm, call 911 and write down everything from the year, make and model of the car, the license plates and the drivers description.
