Houston weather: Flash Flood, Thunderstorm Warning issued; more than 200,000 report outages

Strong to severe storms are possible across all of Southeast Texas through early Thursday evening as a disturbance moves through the area.

Large hail, heavy rain, frequent lightning, and damaging winds are all possible through about 10 p.m. Storms will be dropping southeast towards the coast and could get feisty.

The National Weather Service in League City has issued Flash Flood Warning for Harris County in southeastern Texas until 830 p.m.

A Severe Thunderstorm Warning for was issued for Galveston County, Brazoria County, Chambers County, and Harris County until 6:45 p.m.
