Furr High School students stage walkout in protest of principal's removal

Some students at Furr High School are ticked off their beloved principal Dr. Bertie Simmons was removed from her position, so they staged a walk out and a protest outside the school earlier this morning. Those students are wanting HISD leaders to let Dr. Simmons come back.

Simmons has filed several complaints against the district after she was removed over allegations she threatened a student with a baseball bat over dress code violations. An attorney for Dr. Simmons has filed several complaints against the district - on that list age, retaliation, and of course race.

On the Factor to talk about it is Jordan Davis, a senior at Furr High School who organized the walk out, along with activist Gerry Monroe.
