After a woman who owns a check cashing business withdrew $75,000 from a bank on Friday morning, she and her husband were attacked when she arrived to her business.

Arson investigators are working to determine what started the fire that killed a Baytown grandfather. Friends said 86-year-old Jimmy Tesar was home alone when the fire started early on Friday morning.

Thousands of young undocumented immigrants throughout the U.S. are waiting on the decision of a federal judge in Houston. The judge is expected to rule on whether the Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals program can continue.

Construction crews are putting the finishing touches on renovations at the Moore Elementary campus in the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District. Moore Elementary was devastated by flooding during Hurricane Harvey. The $15 million renovation project is almost complete.
