Daughter of slain Dallas officer recalls their heartbreaking final goodbye

In a heartbreaking interview, the daughter of Sgt. Mike Smith, one of the five police officers killed in the Dallas shooting, remembered her father's final goodbye to her.

Nine-year-old Caroline Smith said, "He was leaving to go to work, and I was leaving to go to a movie, and he said to me, 'What if this is the last time you ever kiss me or hug me?'"

She added that was not was not their normal goodbye, and it was the first time she could recall him saying that.

"Was this kiss any different?" the interviewer asked.

"Yes, it was," Caroline answered. "It just felt different to me. I thought something bad was going to happen."
