Chick-Fil-A restaurant owner pays employees during remodeling

A Chick-Fil-A in Austin has been closed the past five months for remodeling. That sounds normal, doesn't it?

Well get this: the owner paid his employees the entire time the business was closed!

The restaurant re-opened this week bigger and better.

"'That would be a real financial crisis, for the 50 families represented by the employees here, they would have to go five months without a job," says owner Jeff Glover.

Glover not only paid his employees during the remodeling period, he is also giving them a $1 per hour raise!

The new and improved restaurant is now the largest Chick-Fil-A in the Austin area.
