The Reverend Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. was a pioneer who selflessly gave back for the betterment of not just blacks, but all people. His unrelenting efforts changed a nation and impacted the world. All throughout the U.S., his achievements are celebrated with a federal holiday that should remind us of his ultimate sacrifice to make this country a better place.  

Dr, King was assassinated but his work lives on. Are we doing enough to carry on his dream and what is the atmosphere in the U.S. following Dr. King's death and work?
