$500 million given to Houston for highway improvements

HOUSTON (FOX 26) - Millions of dollars will be rolling into to Houston, with hopes of improving some of our roadways. The funds will give Houstonians a much-needed break from the crowded roadways. Nearly $500 million will be given from the state.The biggest project in the works will be the intersection of 59 and 610 in southwest Houston.
