Look for showers and storms to wind down as we head towards sunset with partly cloudy and muggy conditions lasting through the night. Clouds will increase overnight and temperatures remain mild.

Expect off-and-on showers and a few storms, with dry breaks in between and coverage varying from place to place. Temperatures remain near average during the afternoon, with highs in the low 80s and overnight lows near 70.

A stronger system brings a better chance for showers and thunderstorms. on Friday Some storms could produce brief heavier rain, but so far rain looks hit and miss. Threat for flooding does not appear to be a major issue at this point. Most areas will likely pick up around an inch or less through Saturday. Isolated higher amounts are possible. There will be a daily chance for showers and a few storms for the next week.
