Large tornadoes are likely, especially around Oklahoma & North Texas. Line of storms will approach the Houston area tonight and should move in after midnight. Storms are expected to weaken and not be severe by the time they reach Houston. But there's a small chance for a few strong storms tonight NW of Houston up around Huntsville & Bryan. Best chance for rain & storms will be from 2-7am Tuesday for Houston although a few storms could clip Bryan & College Station closer to midnight. Cold from will move in bringing cooler & drier air for Wednesday and Thursday. These will likely be the nicest days of the week with loads of sunshine and cool mornings. It's going to snow today...April fools (we?re required to do that). Seriously, it's going to be windy & muggy today with a chance for showers and storms overnight tonight and into tomorrow morning. Once that system passes, we're looking great late Tuesday through Friday with brisk mornings and sunny days. Unfortunately, the solar eclipse forecast is still trending toward clouds and even some rain. I sure hope that doesn't happen.
