This morning's cold front has helped to set up southeast Texas for a clear and cold weekend. Temperatures will drop far enough below freezing in the northern counties for a HARD FREEZE WARNING. Most of those counties will also see a WIND CHILL ADVISORY as well. There will be enough rain returning to the forecast for next week, that we have issued a FOX 26 Storm Alert Day for Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. The flood threat in Houston will be increasing as 1 to 4 inches of rain could fall on Monday. Another 1 to 2 inches of rain could also fall on Tuesday and Wednesday.
