FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast

Near perfect fall weather will continue through the weekend for the Houston area with lots of sunshine and very dry air. That means low humidity and pleasant mornings in the 60s. High temperatures this weekend should climb to the low 90s. Temperatures will heat up and humidity will increase a bit next week but low rain chances are not expected to return until late next week. An area of low pressure could develop in the western Caribbean over the next week and there's a low 30% chance of this happening. Helene is now a much weaker Post-Tropical Cyclone over Kentucky but is still dumping torrential rain across the Appalachians, Tennessee Valley & Ohio Valley. Hurricane Isaac and Tropical Storm Joyce are both in the central Atlantic but are not expected to be a threat to land at this point.
