It is a lovely start to the weekend in Houston. Wake up temperatures are in the 60s with highs in the 90s. Low humidity will continue with dry and clear skies. Enjoy this fall-like weather this weekend because we will be warming up next week. Helene is now a post-tropical cyclone. We continue to monitor widespread flooding across the Appalachians. Hurricane Isaac and Tropical Storm Joyce are churning in the open water of the Atlantic and will likely stay out to sea. There are two areas, one in the Caribbean and one in the Atlantic, with the chance for development over the next week.
