FOX 26 Houston Weather Forecast: Hot, hazy weather pattern on the way
We may have a few storms on Thursday, but the overall trend will be toward a hot, hazy pattern with a smaller coverage of rain each day. A plume of dust and warmer, drier air in the upper atmosphere is moving across the Caribbean and Gulf and should arrive here either Thursday or Friday. We'll notice a hazy tinge to the sky that will be most noticeable at sunrise and sunset. Also, high temps should rise into the mid or possibly upper 90s.

We will continue to deal with more typical June heat for the next few days. Then temperatures will soar close to 100� as we go into the weekend. Watch for one or two storms possible this evening with our highest rain & storm chance arriving tomorrow afternoon. Beyond that, look for a daily isolated shower of storm with heat index values above 100. We will also watch for possible air quality issues beginning Thursday.
