A cloudy start to our Friday, but we'll see a gradually clearing sky as we work through the morning and afternoon. Temperatures will be slightly warmer today compared to yesterday. We'll remain dry today with only slight rain chances on Saturday. Higher rain chances arrive Sunday and continue into next week. It won't be raining the entire time, but soggy times are expected through at least Thursday.

It will be a struggle to clear out these clouds today and temperatures will likely remain in the upper 60s and low 70s most of the day. Rain chances will continue to drop throughout the day and by Thursday, the sun will likely reappear. Quiet weather will persist until Sunday when rain chances ramp back up with unsettled weather expected next week.

Storm chances should increase for the greater Houston area from this evening through Wednesday morning. Beginning Wednesday night and extending through Saturday, expect clear skies and lower humidity.

We should see highs reach the upper 80s this afternoon and as we warm, rain chances will also slightly increase. Most of us should remain dry, though. A cold front will eventually move through the region as we head into Tuesday and that's when we'll see our best shot at rain. Temperatures behind the front will be cooler, with highs on Wednesday and beyond in the low 80s.
