President Donald Trump on Friday heard opposing viewpoints in the debate over youth vaping but offered no insight into where he would ultimately come down on the issue after promising two months ago that he would ban most flavored e-cigarettes but later backtracking.
The use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices is now banned in the city of Sugar Land, thanks to the efforts of one persistent teen.
"A student at Lamar High School was transported to a local hospital as a precautionary measure after they reported feeling ill," HISD said in a statement to FOX 26.
The American Medical Association on Tuesday called for an immediate ban on all electronic cigarettes and vaping devices.
The CDC said the chemical compound was found in lung fluid from 29 patients tested in a government lab.
At least 33 people have died from illnesses related to vaping, the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention announced Thursday.
