This is an important time of year for many parents as the Houston Independent School District will begin accepting applications on Sept. 30 for children to attend one of the various magnet schools. Many parents and students are researching schools so they can find the right fit. Applications to HISD magnet schools will be accepted from Sept. 30 until Dec. 9.
